DR FEROZ M MESSENGER

Dr Messenger is one of the founding members of GIPCOE and was elected as the CEO of GICOE in December 2009. 

Dr Messenger comes from a Clinical background and he has years of experience in Clinical governance and service remodelling for the NHS in the United Kingdom. He has worked in various Director posts within the NHS and NGO sectors in the past.

He is a well known International Human Rights Activist and speaker who has worked in numerous Human Rights initiative in the UK and Internationally since 2001. He is a subject expert and a leading speaker in Ruwanda genocide of Tutsi Minorities in 1994 and Bosnian genocide in 1995. He is well known for his proactive Human Rights engagement especially in the case of the genocide committed against Roghingya Minorities in Myanmar in August 2017, in particular, when the ethnic cleansing continued in a concealed manner after the Myanmar government claimed that the genocide ended on the 5th of September.

Dr NADEEM EVAN

Dr Evan Deputises our CEO and he comes from a clinical background but he has been working in Crisis hit areas of the world. He is also part of the disaster management team and worked as a field doctor in various parts of the world.

He is our South Asia expert and works closely with regional players within South Asian crisis hit areas.

Dr Evan is a specialist in strategy planning and he is our lead for continental affairs. He has a special interest in facilitating inter-racial communication, collaboration and coordination initiatives between South Asian and Far-east Asian communities.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

MR ARNOLD JULIOUS DONALDSON

Mr Donaldson worked as the Assistant Operations Director for RedCross for a period of 8 years from 2010 until 2018 for Africa and Middle east regions. During this period he has worked with numerous international relief agencies such as UNESCO, AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL, MEDICINES SAN FRONTIER and The UN Fact Findings Missions.

 

Mr Donaldson currently works as a regional director for a Fair-trade agency who works to bring fair-pay and good living conditions to Tea Plantation workers in Africa and Asia.

DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL COORDINATIONS

MS JULIANA COSTA

Ms Costa has a degree in politics and worked an an international coordinator for multi-religious affairs for South America and Europe for the period 1998-2017 for a regional Peace building organisation GAMETCO. During this post she had worked with multi-regional relief aid teams as well as AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL in order to facilitate communication and improved working relationship with numerous local political and social players.

Mr Costa works as an advisor for a Scandinavian Relief Mission and also works as a regional coordinator for UNESCO.
